AMA Support

Postby Eric on Thu Jan 13, 2011 11:58 am

According to the known issues page, as of build 4373
AMA and OMF are not supported, only MXF.
Is AMA support planned for the future, and if so any ideas about when we could expect such support? Thanks!

We would like to support AMA and are investigating it, but I don't have an availability date.

I too am very anxious to learn when there will be more support for AMA. We've come up with a few workarounds that allow the program to sync audio to our DSLR's in MC 5.0 but most of the workarounds are time consuming because you have to mix down all of the reference camera audio which is linked via AMA. Avid gives errors when trying to export the AAF without mixing down first.
