Using Singular Software Presto™ with Sony Vegas® Pro
Presto uses your videos of the presenter and their projection screen, along with the original slides, to automatically create an engaging presentation video that combines the crisp bright slide images with a closely tracked inset of your presenter. This page explains how to get started with Presto, leads you through each step of Presto's wizard interface, and also introduces a sample project that you can download to experiment with Presto right away.
Presto works with Sony Vegas Pro v8, v8.1, v9 or newer, and in both the 32-bit and 64-bit editions.

Using Presto with Sony Vegas Pro (~4 minutes)
Getting started: the Presto workflow

The figure above shows the media you need to collect before creating a presentation using Presto. You can download the sample project to experiment with Presto right away.
- Record a video of your presenter with one camera and a video of the
projection screen with another camera, preferably with presenter audio on
both cameras (so that you can use PluralEyes to synchronize them). Important: See
Guidelines for recording your
presentation. The sample project includes a presenter video
and screen video example to help you get started.
- Convert your PowerPoint® or Keynote presentation into image files.

file to images.). The sample project includes slide images
ready to use.
- Start Vegas Pro and create a new project.
- Start Presto from the Vegas Pro menu item Views > Extensions > Presto (or
add Presto to the toolbar).
- The Presto wizard will take you through the steps of adding your source media, processing it, fine-tuning the appearance of the presentation, and rendering your presentation video.

For quick access to Presto, add the Presto button to your Vegas Pro toolbar via the menu item Options > Customize Toolbar.
